My yoga experience with Lizzy is relatively recent, about 2 yrs. However, I have a dedicated yoga practice of over 35 yrs. I also have a background in dance. So, what a surprise and inspiration to discover an exceptional teacher in Lizzy. I have taken both in person classes and 2 online series classes with her. I find myself looking forward to each of them. The classes are thoughtfully designed to build strength and increase your range of motion and they are given at a gentle pace. There is a lightness and humor in her teaching style that is relaxing even when the work is challenging. Whether new to yoga or yoga veteran, I strongly recommend any classes she may offer.

Lizzy Parrague is an outstanding master of her craft. She is also an absolute joy to work with . She combines her warmth and humor with her hardest drills, and I’m amazed that she actually gets me to push myself as hard as she does! Her fitness knowledge is amazing, she is so well educated she has been able to devise the best personal workout for me twice a week for the past three years without duplicating any of them. There is an old proverb that says “when the student is ready the teacher will appear” I couldn’t be luckier to have found Lizzy. If I could sign up for the” lifetime” plan I would. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I was so lucky to learn that Lizzy offered private yoga lessons. I was dealing with some potentially serious health issues and wanted to do everything I could to feel better. Practicing with and learning from Lizzy has shown me that I can actually have a sustainable yoga practice, which is something I have always wanted. Her teaching style is totally upbeat and encouraging. Lizzy must love to teach, because she is great at it. She always adjusts the routine to make it slightly more challenging or to modify when parts are difficult for me. My progress has a lot to do with Lizzy being such an inspiring role model for health. If you are looking for that kind of yoga teacher, I cannot recommend her enough.

Lizzy is a truly beautiful human being, inside and out, embodying the essence of yoga in her kind spirit, her gentle, yet strong teaching style, and her grace and gratitude toward the people and the world around her. Lizzy meets each student where they are and is patient and encouraging. She’s precise in articulating the poses and looks carefully for correct alignment and posture. Her vibrant and upbeat approach sets a fun tone to each class. As a beginner my classes have been informational and productive. I love yoga now in a large part because of Lizzy’s guidance and instruction.

The format of instruction I received from Lizzy was an Online Series. Before starting classes with Lizzy I was feeling slightly nervous as I am usually focused on aerobic exercise, such as running. Practicing with her helped me to slow down and reflect deeply. Which is something I knew I needed, but didn’t realize how helpful it would be. Her teaching style is supportive, positive, authentic, and realistic. I would recommend Lizzy for those looking to gain flexibility, core strength, and mental clarity. She has a way of saying the right thing at the right time in a poetic way. I felt encouraged throughout each lesson. Something I didn’t expect to get from the work but did get was the feeling of being grounded and grateful for my body.
